Neighborwoods Offers Free Trees To Homeowners

Free trees are available through NeighborWoods, a program administered by Up With Trees. Each homeowner is entitled to one free tree that will be planted in the front yard. Homeowners who accept a free tree must agree to care for it after it has been planted.
We’re looking for Wedgwood residents who would like to participate. Volunteers from the neighborhood and other community organizations will gather on a Saturday morning to plant 20-50 trees.
We’ll have some applications available at the neighborhood picnic this Saturday. The form is available on the Up With Trees website if you would like to print it and fill it out in advance. Please bring your completed form to the picnic. We’ll turn them in as a group.
